DAY 01
Meet at Juliaca – travelers are expected to arrange their own transportation to Juliaca Airport (JUL) where they will be transported by private shuttle to our 5-star hotel set on the shores of Lake Titicaca
Settle into the hotel, enjoy a cocktail on the veranda overlooking the Lake and enjoy a lovely dinner in a serene setting
DAY 02
Morning yoga (optional)
Today is mostly free to acclimatize to the altitude (Lake Titicaca sits at just over 12,500 feet!), allowing guests to explore the lake and its beauty
The hotel has kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, and sunfish sailboats for guests to enjoy or perhaps you’d prefer to birdwatch the plentiful species of birds that call the lake home
DAY 03
After a satisfying breakfast at the lodge, we’ll head to the famed floating Uros islands and the Island of Taquile where we’ll meet people from the Uro-Aymara community and witness the phenomenon that allows for the floating islands to exist
Lunch will be a picnic outdoors today, enjoying the deep blue skies mirrored across Lake Titicaca – if we’re lucky, we’ll see Bolivia’s Cordillera Real mountain range in the backdrop

DAY 04
After an early breakfast, we’ll head to the train station to take the 10-hour journey to Cusco on the PeruRail luxury trainline
The train offers comfortable seating and wide windows (including a separate “viewing car” that offers even more magnificent views) to allow travelers to enjoy their view as the wind through the Andes mountains
Once in Cusco, we’ll be transported to our 5-star hotel for the next few days, which is nestled between Cusco and Machu Picchu in the Sacred Valley of the Incas
DAY 05
Optional yoga class to kick off the day
Free time to explore the 25-private acres surrounding the hotel, relax, and enjoy massages

Optional horseback riding with Peruvian Paso Horses
Dinner at the lodge (optional cooking class)
DAY 06
Full-day of exploring Machu Picchu, starting with a train ride up the mountain to this magical site and a private guide
Explore the awe-inspiring ancient Incan citadel nestled high in the Andes Mountains, renowned for its stunning panoramic views, intricate stone structures, and enigmatic archaeological significance
Time to relax when we get back, enjoying the hotel amenities that include a heated outdoor pool, jacuzzi and steam room

DAY 07
After an early breakfast, we head to the Cusco airport to catch a direct flight to Puerto Maldonado, the gateway to the Peruvian Amazon
After arriving at the airport, we will take a canoe upriver to our riverside Amazonian luxury lodge, nestling us into the heart of the jungle
Welcome drink to enjoy the subset, followed by dinner
DAY 08
After breakfast, we’ll venture to Lake Sandoval, within the protected Tambopata National Reserve where wildlife will surround us – with any luck we’ll see the endangered giant river otter, howler monkeys, and macaws
We’ll round the evening out with a twilight river cruise to watch as the nocturnal animals come back to life, finishing the day with dinner at the lodge
DAY 09
After breakfast, we’ll take a canoe ride to the Canopy Walkway Center where we’ll walk through the treetops for 1.5 hours along suspension bridges that link together eight different observation platforms where we’ll hopefully see all types of flora and fauna including orchids, toucans, birds of prey, monkeys and sloths
Once we’re back on the ground, we’ll walk along a wooden bridge over the wetland to observe amphibians, birds and mammals that make the flooded marshland their home
DAY 10
Sadly our journey has come to an end! We’ll depart the Amazon just as we arrived – by boat before boarding the plane to get back to Cusco where travelers will continue their onward journeys independently

- Currency: Peru’s local currency is the Sol (PEN). Credit cards are accepted widely, but carrying cash for small vendors and tips is wise.
- Language: While Spanish is the national language, English is commonly spoken in tourist areas. Our guides are fluent in both to ensure seamless communication.
- Best Travel Time: The dry season from May to September is ideal for traveling, with perfect conditions for outdoor exploration and cultural activities.
