Wildwell was founded on a simple idea. Time spent in the right places, with intention and care, can change how we feel, how we think, and how we move through the world. What began as a boutique travel company designing immersive, nature-based journeys has grown into a broader platform for thoughtfully curated retreats and experiences.

As our network has grown, so has demand from retreat hosts and independent venues seeking a more considered way to create and host group experiences.
Over time, we began hearing the same question from both sides. Retreat hosts were looking for settings that felt intentional and well-run, not transactional or overbooked. Venue owners wanted a way to host groups that respected their space, their operations, and the experience they had worked hard to create.
Wildwell’s expanded model grew directly from this overlap. Rather than becoming a marketplace or a booking engine, we chose to work in a more measured way. We support retreats on a case-by-case basis, bringing together hosts and venues that are aligned in size, pace, and values, and helping coordinate the operational details once a retreat is confirmed.
This approach allows us to extend the care and rigor of our travel programs into hosted retreats, without losing what makes each venue or host unique. It also ensures that every retreat feels considered, from the first conversation through the final day on site.
