DAY 01
- Meet at Auckland International Airport, where we will be transported across the bay to our hotel for the next several days on the enchanting island of Waiheke
- Settle in and ditch the jet lag after a long journey to the wonderful country of New Zealand
DAY 02
Morning yoga (optional)
Dust off the travel with a massage at the hotel before enjoying a day to relax in the picturesque setting of Waiheke Island
Enjoy a gourmet dinner paired with premium New Zealand wines from the region
DAY 03
After a satisfying breakfast at the lodge, we’ll head back to Auckland to embark on a scenic drive down to Taupō, where we’ll be spending the next three nights at a 5-star lodge near the famed Huka Falls
Experience a “manaakitanga” which means “feel at home” in te reo Māori
Enjoy a leisurely afternoon to relax by the river’s edge or play petanque or tennis on the 17-acre hotel grounds before dinner
DAY 04
After breakfast, enjoy some down time before heading to the airport to catch a direct-flight to Bariloche
Once in Bariloche we’ll travel to a luxurious remote lodge on the side of one of the Lake District’s most beautiful glacial lakes

DAY 05
Optional yoga class to kick off the day
Free time to explore the 17-private acres surrounding the hotel before heading to the Ngatoroirangi Mine Bay to explore traditional rock carvings on the lake
Perhaps tonight you’ll enjoy a glass of wine in front of an open fire before retiring for the
DAY 06
Before we travel the two hours on to Hawke’s Bay wine region, take the morning to enjoy the Taupō township one last time, perhaps by bike!
We’ll be staying on site a famed vineyard in Hawke’s Bay, enjoying the serenity that comes from this luscious landscape, as well as the fruits of their labor
DAY 07
We’ll sample some of the wines New Zealand is famous for today, after a refreshing night of sleep and a hearty breakfast
Hawke’s Bay wines offer a sensory journey through New Zealand’s diverse terroir, boasting rich and complex flavors derived from the region’s sun-drenched vineyards and cool ocean breezes
DAY 08
Today is a day for relaxation and enjoyment — whether you prefer to relax by the pool, walk along the beach, read by the outdoor fireplace, or hike around the area, there is something for everyone to enjoy
Tonight marks our last night in Hawke’s Bay and the end of the “New Zealand – North” trip for those traveling on from here
We’ll celebrate the end of our North Island tour with a delicious multiple course dinner and wine pairing to put our newfound wine tasting skills to good use
DAY 09
After breakfast and one final opportunity to enjoy the Hawke’s Bay region, we’ll depart for Napier Airport (NPE) where some of us will continue our New Zealand expedition on the South Island, and others will venture forth from here
For those heading South, we’ll fly to Christchurch and take a scenic drive to our next destination in Kaikoura, which includes beautiful views from luxury treehouse accommodations
DAY 10
Kaikoura, nestled between rugged mountains and the vast Pacific Ocean, offers a unique opportunity to witness an abundance of marine life, including whales, dolphins, and seals, against a backdrop of stunning coastal scenery
While we’re here, we’ll have the opportunity to engage in whale watching, surfing or swimming in the ocean, and beautiful walks along the coastline
Enjoy a three-course dinner tonight paired with local wines
DAY 11
After a satisfying breakfast at the lodge, you’ll have an opportunity to explore the area at your leisure, whether this means sticking around the lodge to appreciate the amenities like roaring fires, sitting by the pool or sauna, or venturing further into Kaikoura to experience the natural beauty that abounds
We’ll all meet back for another excellent dinner at the end of the day — our last in the region before heading to Queenstown in the morning
DAY 12
After one last satisfying breakfast in Kaikoura, we’ll head back to Christchurch to fly to Queenstown
From Queenstown we’re heading to a private and exclusive resort situated in Wānaka where we will be pampered and spoiled by staff attuned to our specific needs for the next two-nights
DAY 13
After a breakfast prepared by a private chef, we’ll have the opportunity to explore the grounds of this luxury estate and take in the magnificent views surrounding us
After a leisurely day in nature, we’ll enjoy another dinner prepared by our private chef complete with wine pairings before retiring to enjoy the evening in front of the fire
DAY 14
Today is all about relaxation – whatever that means to you! Take a horseback ride, enjoy a picnic on the grounds, take a hike from one of the many private trails from the lodge, or simply slow down and enjoy a good book by the pool
The estate spans 136,000 acres and is a nature-lovers paradise full of natural wonders to explore and appreciate
Once again, we’ll end the day with a meal prepared by our private chef
DAY 15
As hard as it is to leave this oasis, we’ll be venturing to Glenorchy this afternoon, a mere hour drive from where we are currently, to appreciate a different side of the Queenstown region
This 5-star luxury hotel is set on the shores of Lake Wakatipu with stunning view of the mountains — many of the Lord of the Rings memorable scenes were filmed in this region
After settling in, we’ll enjoy a divine dinner with our new hosts
DAY 16
Relax in Blanket Bay, enjoying the rich tapestry of mountains around us through amenities like horseback riding and hiking
Enjoy a massage at the hotel’s luxury spa or simply rest amongst the beautiful backdrop of the Remarkables mountain range
Enjoy delicious dinner and drinks in a remarkable location
DAY 17
From Glenorchy, we’ll be traveling just slightly south to Fiordland, where more stunning landscapes across 1.2 million hectares of protected land await
We’ll be staying at the gateway to Fiordland National Park, where endless wilderness is ours to discover
Once again, we’ll have the opportunity to taste exquisite cuisine, accompanied by local wines houses in one of two of our hotel’s wine cellars
DAY 18
After breakfast, we’ll be venturing to Milford Sound, which is often hailed as one of the world’s most breathtaking natural wonders. Carved by glaciers during the ice ages, the fiord is characterized by its dramatic landscapes, including towering granite cliffs, cascading waterfalls, and lush rainforests.
Our private cruise on the sound is sure to delight the senses with abundant wildlife as seals, penguins, and dolphins are frequently seen in the area

DAY 19
Today we’ll be taking a jetboat excursion across the famed Lake Manapouri, considered one of the most picturesque lakes in New Zealand
Manapouri serves as the gateway to the famous Doubtful Sound, which we’ll be able to see before heading back to the hotel for our last night in New Zealand
DAY 20
After one final morning in this stunning region, we’ll sadly have to venture back to Queenstown for onward travel
