Iceland
Troll Peninsula
August 2027
24 Guests // Pairs
$27,400 per person
Iceland is fire and ice in the same ground: volcano under glacier, the country built where the two meet. And that meeting is the point, because fire and ice don’t cancel—they make water. Heat the ice and you get the thing that flows, joins, and carries.
A pair is fire and ice by nature: warmth and friction, closeness and difference. Brought together in the right place, you don’t cancel—you become something that flows. You come as two because water is what fire and ice make together.
A Sense of the Days
The days are built around the water and the light. You might spend a morning sea kayaking among the fjord islands, watching for whales surfacing in the dark water. There are guided hikes to remote waterfalls, stand-up paddleboarding on still fjord water, and char fishing in rivers and lakes. Two guided adventures a day, with all equipment provided.
Because we have exclusive use of the entire property, it feels less like a hotel and more like a private house at the edge of the world. In August, the midnight sun stretches the days endlessly, allowing for long, quiet evenings in the geothermal pool while the cold air settles over the valley and the light never quite fades.
The Lodge
Deplar Farm is a converted sheep farm set deep in the Fljót Valley on the Troll Peninsula in north Iceland. Built with black timber and a traditional turf roof, it sits low in the landscape and disappears into it. We take the entire 13-room lodge exclusively for our group. The property features a geothermal infinity pool, an indoor-outdoor pool with a swim-up bar, a Viking-style sauna, a dedicated heat-and-ice ritual space, flotation tanks, and spa rooms. A dedicated experience manager coordinates the week.

Transformative Wellness
The practice here is contrast and flow. A Wildwell facilitator is present all week; a visiting practitioner joins for bodywork and relational sessions. Your personal schedule is arranged on arrival. All sessions are offered as paired practice—this is your week together.
- The heat-and-ice ritual, the signature practice, done together: geothermal infinity pool to cold plunge to Viking-style sauna and back—a shared practice of surrender and co-regulation, not a spa amenity
- Flotation tank sessions in the lodge’s dedicated spa
- Daily optional sunrise yoga and gentle movement
- 1:1 restorative yoga sessions
- Paired and co-regulation breathwork
- Bodywork: massage and Reiki
- Relational somatic and nervous-system work

Symbolic thread: fire and ice making water—two becoming something that flows.
